Sherri R. Mewha made her debut appearance as a feature artist in “The Feminine Touch” in September of 2006. Sherri, owner of Sherrus Gallery of Fine Art and Awakening…The Artist Inside – an art materials and art education retail shop in downtown Northville, has returned to her artistic roots. After a successful career in the corporate world, she is now focused on art as a business, and more importantly, as her passion. Her works are lush in color and texture; flowing shapes characterize the composition of each piece.
Sherri’s works are finding an appreciative audience in the Michigan market; particularly her “Fruit of Her Labors,” Moody Blues,” and “Jazz Tones” series.
The common thread woven throughout her art – and her life – is the artist’s intense passion and appreciation for God’s creation and the belief that art is an expression of true worship and a reflection of God, Himself.

“For me, art can be anything that my mind can dream of.”
Fred Brown Usually takes his inspiration from the world around him; he often uses flowers, trees, mountains, the moon, and the human body. Sometimes, Fred will just throw paint on a board and simply react to that. He enjoys the freedom to create Images that are personal. “They relate to what is going on in my world and the world as a whole. The thoughtfulness and raw emotion that I invest in the work will, hopefully, translate into universal truths about the human condition.”
Fred gives his pieces their vitality by blending an exact translation of his inspiration with cuts that are made in a reckless manner. He regards the creation of his woodcuts as a spiritual, and athletic experience.
